I’m pretty sure it was Daring Fireball that put me on to Weather Line early on. I was intrigued by Dark Sky, but the interface always felt off.
Weather Line made sense right out of the gate—seeing the high and low temps as a trendline. So. Clean.
They kept that clean and minimal approach right to the end, with the small checkered flag marking the last day the app would function.
I’m not sure who acquired the Weather Line team, but I hope whoever lets them keep doing what they do.
