Things I’ve noticed the last few weeks.
You know, a few weeks ago, I was feeling nostalgic about Instagram, so I reinstalled it with the intent of being in “broadcast-only mode.”
But then today, I see that Facebook has started ghosting Heather Cox Richardson’s posts. I keep getting these mixed signals on which speech is free.
I’ve been saying this since the election, but here’s a(nother) Substack account that’s pretty good for actionable information with that for a name. For my friends and family in North Carolina, they have a less regular local edition.
Sure, it’s borderline clickbait, but at least it’s not “This one neat trick.” “Angelina Jolie Was Right About Computers.”. Well played, Wired. Well played.
Off to go cue up some 90s nostalgia now that Severance has wrapped up.
